Herb formulae for chronic hepatitis B with elevated ALT and/or AST

Formula 1

For liver qi stagnant, spleen damp:                按此 看中文

Prescription:

wu wie zi 10 g, bai shao 12-15 g, bai hua she she cao 30 g, lian qiao 15 g, dan shen 15-30 g, yu jin 10 g.   Boil all ingredients with one and a half qts of water.  Add 3 g of san qi powder when cooled to drinking temperature. Use as tea.

Adjustment:

for qixu (qi deficient):

add dang shen, bai zhu, huang jing

for yinxu (yin deficient):

mu li, gui ban, sheng di huang

for yangxu (yang deficient):

add xiang mao, ba ji tian

if damp is heavy :

add fu ling

Formula 2

Name of Formula:

Sheng Jiang San (Source:Shang Shu Quan Shu)

Uses:  rid of xue yu (blood stasis) .. For treatment of non-infectious type of meningitis,hepatitis B, and enterovirus type 71 (EV71).

Prescription:

jiang can 9~15g, chan tui 8~10 g, da huang  6~15 g, jiang huang  9 g (make into powder and put in during the last minute).

Add 800 cc of water. Simmer till 320 cc is left. Make into 3 servings. Drink while warm.

Adjustment:

  1. If damp-heat  is heavy: add hu zhang,  yin chen hao, hua shi,  pu gong ying, bai hua she she cao etc.

  2. If pixu (spleen deficient) and liver qi stagnation:: add xiang fu,  yu jin, fu ling, dang shen, lai fu zi,  guan zong, etc;

  3. If mainly spleen deficient:: add dang shen,  bai zhu,  hua shan yao, ban bian lian etc.

  4. If spleen deficient and kidney deficient: add huang qi, nu zhen zi,  tai zi shen,  fu ling,  sang ji sheng,  xian ling pi etc.

  5. If liver and kidney yinxu (yin deficient) : remove jiang huang,  add shan zhu yu, bai hua she she cao, nu zhen zi,  han lian cao,  hu zhang,  da qing ye,  xuan shen etc.

In Chinese:

乙型活動肝炎﹐轉氨脢生高﹐多有肝氣鬱結﹐脾濕﹐可用下方﹕

五味子10克 ﹐白芍12~15克﹐白 花蛇舌草30克﹐連翹15克﹐丹 參15~30克﹐

鬱金10克 。加水1500毫升。煎至500毫升。溫服。服時沖入生 田七粉3克。

 

加減﹕

氣 虛黨 參白 朮 , 黃 精 。

陰 虛 加 牡 蠣 , 龜 板 ,生 地 黃

陽 虛香 茅巴 戟 天

如 濕 重 加 茯 苓

 

 

以升降散為主﹐治療乙型肝炎

升降散
藥物組成:蟬 退 8~10g,
殭 蠶 9~15g,薑 黃9 g,大 黃  6~15g。
 

加減:

 

  1. 濕 熱邪毒偏重: 加虎 杖茵陳蒿滑石蒲公英花蛇舌草等;

  2. 脾虛  肝氣鬱結: 加香附鬱 金茯苓黨參萊菔子等;

  3. 脾虛為主: 加黨參白朮淮山半邊蓮等;

  4. 脾虛腎虛: 加黃耆女貞子太子參茯苓桑寄生淫羊藿等;

  5. 肝腎 陰虛: 去薑 黃,加山茱萸花蛇舌草女貞子旱蓮 草虎 杖大青葉玄參等。
     

用法﹕每日1劑﹐水煎服。2個月為1療程。

 

療效標准:根據1990年全國病毒性肝炎會議制訂。治愈標准為:症狀體征消失,肝功能恢復正常。兩對半陰轉,隨訪1年以上 未復發。顯效:症狀體征消失,肝功能恢復正常,HBsAg、HBeAg轉陰,HBsAb、HBeAb、HBcAb仍為陽性。無效:症狀體征無明顯改善,肝功能反復 輕度不正常,HBsAg HBeAg、HBeAb 陽性。

 

結果:

本組52例,治療2~3個療程以上,治愈24例,顯效19例,有效5例,無效4例,總有效率為92.3%。結果顯示:用升 降散為主治療乙型肝炎,並同時配用祛濕、解毒、調血、扶正之品,臨床療效滿意。

束骨薑黃代替鬱 金薑 黃對降低 麩氨酸丙酮酸轉氨脢ALT﹐和 麩氨酸草酸轉氨脢AST 效果較好。
