The Chinese medical classics: Ben Cao Gang Mu

One of the most important Chinese medical material books written by Li Shizhen (1518~1593) who was a great physician and naturalist.

The book listed 1,892 herbs, 374 of which were new additions from the then known species. The book also introduced some foreign species and included over 10,000 formulas and 1,000 illustrations of herbs.

《本草綱目》，明代李时珍 (1518~1593)著，從第一版到现在，已经有390多年了。

先後曾出版過数十种版本。譯本有日、英、俄、德、法、西班牙等文。

全書壹佰九十多萬字。共收錄了一千八百九十二種藥物、其中三百七十四種為當時新增的藥物。本書並介紹了外來品種、並包含一萬條配方與一千多圖案。
