Medical Function:

It inhibits the synthesis of deoxyribonucleic acid of cells thus inhibits their growth. It is a drug that controls  the abnormal (growth) cycle of cells.  It is more sensitive to the cells during multiplication and causes less injures to the regular cells.

It is being used as immune suppressant Its main usage is for the regular type, special type and mixed type of psorriasis during progression and remission stages. It is mostly used when flare ups and failure of other drugs like methotrexate, formylmerphalan (Formylsarclysin), hydroxycarbamide, etc.

It is effective for short term. Usually after using the drug after 3 to 4 weeks, it shows the marked improvement.

Dosage: oral application. For adult: 300 to 400 mg daily into 2 ~ 3 times. Use after meals. Use daily or skipping day(s). 30 days is one therapy cycle.

Warning: not to be used by sick persons, pregnant women or by women during breast feeding period.
