Pig‘s Bile Toxicity and Antidote

Translated by: Joe Hing Kwok Chu

Pigs' bile is toxic.  Presently there is no effective antidote. In serious cases it can cause exhaustion of multi organs. If after taking pig's bile and nausea and/or vomiting occur, seek medical help. Induce vomiting, perform lavaging, induce diarrhea. Rid of the toxic residue as much as possible. In early stages use glucocorticoid, and diammonium glycyrrhizinate which may lower the jaundice and protect the liver. If possible use hemodialysis or plasma exchange to improve success rate.
