tu ji san  禿 雞 散

Name of formula: tu ji san

Uses: shenxu (kidney deficient) basic tonic formula.

Composition:

rou cong rong  210 g, she chuang zi 90 g,

yuan zhi  40 g, wu wei zi  15 g, tu si zi 120 g,

Wash the herbs and bake till dry. Grind into powder.

Take 12 g each time, twice a day, with lightly

salted drinking water.

Adjustment:

For those with shenyangxu (kidney yang deficient):

add: rou guifu zilu rong, ba ji tianzi he chedong chong xia cao

Also see ming men lacks fire.

For those with shenyinxu (kidney yin deficient): add shu di huanggui ban,   zhi mu

huang bainu zhen zi,   han lian cao

陰虚:  熟地黃龜 板知 母黃 柏  女 貞 子旱蓮草
