wind heat syndrome (feng re) 風熱

Wind heat : clinical syndromes include high fever with some chill, slightly dislike wind, some sweating, headache, cough, stuffy nose with some thick sticky phlegm, some case with sore swollen throat, thirsty and with desire to drink water, red tip and sides of tongue, thin and yellow fur on tongue, floating and rapid pulse.

Avoid eating food that may increase heat syndrome, like: meat of lamb, goat, dog, silky chicken, fish, shrimp,  silkworm pupae, and fruit like Chinese dates, longan, lichee, walnut, and cherries.

風熱:臨 床症狀表現為發熱重、微惡寒,惡 風、頭脹痛、有 汗、咳嗽、痰粘或黃、有時有咽 喉紅腫疼痛、鼻 塞黃涕、口渴喜飲、舌尖邊紅、苔薄白微黃,脈浮數 。

 

避免吃容易上火的食物如: 羊肉、狗肉、烏骨雞、魚、蝦、棗、桂圓肉、荔枝、核桃仁、辣椒、櫻桃、蠶蛹。
