(2). Method of treatment

A self composed formula: Xie Chu Pai Du Tang (Purging Impurity and Detoxification Decoction.

Composition: da huang 15g, pu gong ying 30g, dang gui12g,   dan shen20g, ze xie15g, dong gua pi 30g，dan pi10g, gan cao 6g

Make into thick decoction of 200 ml for enema of once a day, using lying down on right side position. After enema, rest in bed for 2 hours.

Control group: use Coated aldehyde oxystarch, 3 times per day, one bag of 5g each time.

The treatment period of both treatments was 30 days. Besides using this treatment, supporting treatments were also being used as symptoms arose.  Before treatment and during treatment period of 1~2 weeks, observation and recording of changes of symptoms, blood tests, urine normality, liver function, kidney function, electrolyte etc.
