Forbids bare chest or wearing clothes too short . Do not wear shorts  in the outdoor activity, forbids the feminine clothing too sexy. .In the diet, the Xinjiang Muslim religion forbid eating  pig, the dog, the donkey, the mule meat and the beast of prey bird of prey's meat, avoids certain foods after has not killed from animal's meat which dies, also  all animal's blood. Do not take the above to the Muslim family or the dining room, or discusses these goods in this kind of situation.
 

Many Uighurs think that  the people who are jealous or envy others, possess  wicked supernatural power and can give harm to their love ones.Therefore in Xinjiang, do not stare at the Uighurs or their thing, or looked in the bazaar for a long time and not buying.


The Xinjiang people entertain guests or being guests, there are many rules to follow. It is a taboo to step on meal the table cloth or stride over the cloth.  The visitor cannot  casually stir the food, cannot smell the food, cannot go  casually toward the pots on the stove, cannot uncover casually and looks at cooking utensils. .Do not leave  food uneaten the bowls or plates. Do not drop the food to the ground. If food falls to the ground, one must pick it up and  place it on the cloth. Eat all the food the bowl. When eating bread or the steamed bun,  break off the bread  or the steamed bun before eating them. After eating the food do notknock the dishes and bowls.

When being guests, if must leave the mat, cannot walk from the front of other people, Walk behind other. .During the after meal do not look around, smile and set out to take a walk. The visitor cannot turn or search host family's things, cannot pace up and down in hosts' house. After meals and before meals you must wash the hands, after washing the hands use the towel to dry. Cannot sit on food boxes, or on the gunnysack  loaded with the salt,  or on the utensils for  preparing food.

 When eats meal or with the human conversation,   abstain from the spitting saliva or phlegm, blowing the nose, diging the nostrils, digging the ears, cutting the nail, scratching the skin and so on, otherwise it will be deemed very impolite. When sitting, do not stretch out the legs and the soles facing other people.  Use both hands to receive gift, the tea, or  rice bowl. Accepting or delivering thing with one hand is regarded as impolite. Do not sweep the floor when you have guests visiting.

When being guests, should obey master's entertainment, even if you really not want to eat you  must taste some to  show  respect. Do not reject completely.  When the host pours tea for the visitor, the visitor should use both hands to hold the bowl and not to get the teapot and pour it yourself.
