benzodiazepines (Lorazepam)

Benzodiazepines (Lorazepam) works by acting on receptors in the brain called GABA receptors. This causes the release of a neurotransmitter called gama-aminobutyric acid (GABA) in the brain.
Long-term benzodiazepine treatment in seven patients was accompanied by a. significant increase in output of urinary monoamine oxidase inhibitor.
