Birthday Cards Happy birthday to our humble, extraordinary Qi Gong Master Joe ( mom calls you Dr. Chu) You honor us all by being our teacher. Thank you for imparting us your knowledge and for giving us valuable abilities to keep us beautiful, strong, and healthy. As the years go by, my abilities to “feel the qi” continue to expand. I “feel the qi” when I treat my patients, when I’m in tai chi class, and even, at times, when I’m dancing (Indonesian dance!) Mom wishes you happy birthday and thanks you for keeping her strong and healthy –she looks younger than I do! Love, Karen ………………………………….. Happy birthday, Joe! On your birthday, I give you thanks. You have my gratitude for helping me to feel even better about myself than I usually do. The group you have formed here in SF and your teaching style have shown me a path to being a better life partner, father, and friend to my loved ones. The development of my practice has been very gradual and comfortable. I always feel so happy with myself after coming to class each week. It is truly a wonderful way to feel! Daniel …………………………………. To My Dear Great Grand Master Joe Chu, With bulging eyes you send us qi. You care for each and every one of us. Ten years of you teaching us qi gong with kindness and patience. We move qi trough our bodies, loosen our limbs, and quiet the mind. You are a gift, a master, and in the American tradition, a friend. Happy birthday! XO Linda …………………………………. Dear Joe, You are one of a kind and anyone who knows you is very lucky. Thank you Joe for all you have done for me. Happy birthday! Love, Jennifer Last update: July 6, 2008; 9:44 p.m. LAH |
