Blood in Urine

Causes:

 (1). with acute pain:

mostly cause by stones in the urinary tract. Difficulty during urination and pain can be infection of the urinary tract and/or stones in the urinary tract.

(2) without pain:

disease in the kidney, including glomerulonephritis ( 腎絲球腎炎), tumor,  polycystic kidney disease ( 多囊性腎臟),

disease in the bladder, like tumor, stones, sickle cell disease,

disease in the prostate gland, like tumor, and enlarged prostate.

Glomerulonephritis is form of kidney inflammation characterized by inflammation of the renal glomeruli. (A cluster of capillaries situated within a Bowman's capsule at the end of a renal tubule in the vertebrate kidney that filters waste products from the blood and thus initiates urine formation.--American Medical Dictionary)
