Now there is an economic concept of doing business by corporations: externalization. They divert their costs of doing business onto society through the politicians by lobbying (paying the politicians by the lobbyists).  Then, the taxpayers pay for their dirty jobs. It can be money for war industries, money granted to the "non government organization" created by our congress, the National Endowment for Democracy.

This happened in Indonesia in the early 60s and in 1998. Then comes the Middle East, Afghanistan...........

Now there are many American businesses in China. These businesses are well established there if some oil or mining companies try to get into the act by force,  there will be resistance from those established businesses.

Modern warfare depends on satellites heavily, like positioning location, guiding missiles, bombs etc. China once shot down their own satellite and it created a commotion in the West because that means if China being attacked, the first thing China will do will be addressing the satellites of their enemies. Although the attackers can move the satellites erratically to avoid being shot down by the Chinese missiles but moving them will defeat the purpose for guiding or positioning in warfare and render them not so useful for military purposes.

China is very weak in navy compared to the West but in history China did not go out to attack and occupy other countries like that movies said. Although the Free Tibet (financed by National Endowment of Democracy) said Tibet is a country, but can you  find any where in the history that Tibet was recognized as a country. Even the British who had an eye on Tibet said it never was recognized as a country.

May be the missiles of China are strong enough to guard its coast line even without a functional navy.

Will China fall apart like the Soviet Union? The Soviet Union was consist of many small countries by force. China, by history , even back to 3 thousand years ago it covered west to Tibet, Xinjiang areas and east to Shan Hai Guan. The wars between the different ethnic groups, like the Han, Manchus, Xiong Nu (Hungarians of China), Tu Jie (Turks? of China) were actually civil wars. It is not like the Soviet Union.

The most recent trick of externalization of the big oils and big mining companies is to create demonstrations and riots or mainly riots. These were the expert weapons of the early Communists of China. They have a watchful eye for that kind of things.

If you do research on Tian An Men, riots in Tibet, Xinjiang you may find out what organization is involved

I do not want our politicians to use my tax money to promote the corporations' agenda. I like America to be strong but not becoming a tool of the big corporation. Wars are mainly about greed.
