Note: Zingiberis rhizoma refers to dried ginger (most of the times), and it is different from Zingiberis purpurei Rhizoma. Sometimes Zingiberis rhizoma can refers to raw ginger. In that case, the pinyin is "sheng jiang", and the characters are 生薑.
