Being used in rheumatoid arthritis, pain, asthma, cold type of wheezing, seizure. External use in chronic pain due to qi and blood stasis, beriberi. Flowers are effective in inhibiting pain and being used in neuralgia. Leaves and seeds are being used in cough and pain suppressing.
花能去風濕，定喘止痛，可治惊痫和寒哮，煎湯洗治諸風顽痹及寒濕脚氣。花瓣的鎮痛作用尤佳，可治神經痛等。葉和籽可用于鎮咳 鎮痛。 |

White Datura leaves
contain alkaloids from 0.22 to 0.55%. Among them, there are hyoscine,
hyoscyamine and atropine . The leaves of Datura innoxia
contain 0.16 to 0.505 percent of total
alkaloids. Among them are hyoscine
and hyoscyamine, also cuscohygrine,
meteloidine,
7-Hydroxy-3, 6 - bis (tigloyloxy) tropane.
European Datura leaves
containing 0.06 to 0.45% total alkaloids. Its composition is mainly
hyoscyamine hyoscyamus, cuscohygrine,
meteloidine,
7-Hydroxy-3,6- bis (tigloyloxy)tropane.
The total alkaloid content of leaves changes between day and
night. After 23:00. It increases and then decreases in the morning
at 7:00. Purple mandala contains alkaloids hyoscyamine, and
hyoscyamus and less total alkaloid in leaves.
白曼陀羅葉含總生物鹼0.22～0.55%;
其中有天仙子鹼(hyoscine)、天仙子胺(11-hyoscyanline)和阿托品(atropine)。毛曼陀羅葉含總生物鹼0.
16～0.505%；其中主要的是天仙子鹼和天仙子胺，還有紅古豆鹼(cuscohygrine)、陀羅鹼(meteloidine)、7-

點後增加，晨7點後減少。紫花曼陀羅含生物鹼天仙子胺和天仙子鹼；葉中總生物鹼的含量較少。 |
Dosage: 用量﹕ |
0.3～0.6g，宜入丸散，亦可作捲煙分次燃吸（一日量不超過0.5g）。外用適量。 |

For arresting cough: make
into roll as cigarette. Daily dosage should not be over 0.5 g.
For itchy palm with
oozing yellow fluid
Treatment: Use fresh radix daturae 9 g,
xiong huang
9 g, ming fan
9 g.
Add water to make decoction. Maintain the temperature of decoction
at bath water temperature.
Soak the affected hands in the decoction, the longer the better.

治手掌心破痒流黃水：曼陀羅鮮根三錢，雄黃三錢，明
礬三錢。水適量，煎數沸取起。令患者於適合溫度時將患處浸於藥水中，越久越好，日作一、二次。(《閩南民間草藥》)
