You must not have read the article. There are some problems in the article. Here are just some of them:

Distilled water is not acidic. Any water left in the over air will dissolve some carbon dioxide thus will change the PH very slightly.

Table salt does not have chemical added to make it "white in colour". (In America, colour is spelled color with no u. Johns Hopkins is in American) .  Most salt in our area is from the sea and they are white. When you were here attending Stanford University Executive Business Program, you could see the piles of white color raw salt near Dumbarton bridge. They were just evaporated sea water..........white salt.  In some part of the world because of impurities, the raw salt can show different colors. Usually if the producers want to filter out the color, activated carbon filters are being used. "Sea Salt" is a money maker.  Raw salt is just a few dollars a sack of 50 lbs (about 25 kg) here, at wholesale price for industry use, like soy sauce manufacturers and other food manufacturers, water softener manufacturers, bleach manufacturers. It is sold as "sea salt" for uninformed consumer for cooking at ridiculous prices.

To prevent goiter, a thyroid disease a small amount of potassium iodide is added to the  iodized table salt. Table salt also contains a small amount of  magnesium carbonate, calcium silicate, calcium phosphate, magnesium silicate, and calcium carbonate to keep the salt from absorbing water and caking.

Bragg's aminos is a solution of manufactured glutamates it is toxic and bad for memory. Those who like glutamates like MSG, can use it to poison themselves.  See: glutamates.htm
