Mannitol extracted
from the whole herb was given orally to lab mice at 200 mg per mouse
and showed that it possesses antitussive effect (Coughs were induce
by delivery ammonia by steam), but it does not possess expectorant
effect; but no significant expectorant effects (mouse phenol red
method). Most mice with this dose resulted in diarrhea. Reducing the
dose had no cough inhibiting effect, and therefore its effect on
cough is not specified and should be further identified. The total
glycoside does not possess cough inhibiting effect. But the aglycone
possesses cough inhibiting effect.
Decoction in vitro showed no significant inhibitory effect.against
Staphylococcus aureus, catarrhal aureus, Streptococcus pneumoniae.
從全草中提出的甘露醇給小鼠口服200毫克/鼠，有明顯止咳作用（氨水蒸氣引咳法），
但無明顯的祛痰作用（小鼠酚紅法）。用此劑量多數鼠均現腹瀉，減少劑量則無止咳作用，因此，其止咳作用是否具特異性尚需進一步確定。從中提出的總
黃酮甙並無
止咳作用，但甙元則有止咳作用。
煎劑在試管內對金黃色葡萄球菌、卡他球菌、甲型鏈球菌及肺炎雙球菌無明顯的抑菌作用。 |
