gan feng nei dong 肝風內動  (in English and Chinese 中英文)

Gan feng nei dong literally means the liver wind acted internally,  not due to exogenous pathogenic factors. It refers to wind yang, hot, due to blood deficiency (yin deficient, blood deficient ),  The main symptoms are body convulsions, dizziness, and tremors etc.

肝風內動是指肝風不因外感風邪而動者。泛指因風陽, 火熱, 陰血虧虛( 陰虛血虛)所致。以肢體抽搐, 眩暈, 震顫等為主要表現的癥候。
